Carolina Engineers, PA was incorporated on February 12, 1976. At that time, no testing labs were operating in the region and there was a great demand for such services. A building on Trader Construction Company's compound was outfitted with the necessary testing equipment and the laboratory was brought into existence. The creation of Carolina Engineers provided surveying services and established the quality control facility Trader Construction Company needed in carrying out its construction projects. Since that time, Carolina Engineers has been involved with a wide variety of projects and continues to develop better services & relationships.

Our mission is to provide excellent technical services to our clients through quality management efforts and an experienced professional staff while utilizing the latest in equipment technology.

Accreditations

Carolina Engineers has been accredited for soils testing through the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Materials Reference Laborator (AMRL). The scope of our accreditation includes geotechnical, construction materials testing ASTM E320 and D3740 for soils. We are seeking inspection by the Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL) for ASTM C1077 concrete and aggregate testing compliance. All of our equipment have up-to-date calibration certifications and we carry comprehensive liability insurance.
